Portraiture : Style - Mainly Realistic graphite drawings. To refine skills and to keep myself drawing fit, I am constantly drawing. I use photo's which caught my eye and inspire and challenge me to do that. I also do commission head and shoulder drawings from photo's.
Watercolour: Impressionistic style. I strive from time to time to break free from realism and do a quick watercolour. I love to do landscapes and still lifes in this style.
Oil Paint : Impressionistic style : landscapes and figurative as well as still lifes.
Botanical Art : ...back to realism. I use watercolour paints to do this and really enjoy it to portrait flowers as realistic as possible with an artistic flair to it :)

During high school I was taught the basics and importance of drawing first of all. After that I was motivated to dig a bit deeper and moved towards impressionism(post). I mainly did landscapes and still lifes. Didn't like humans in my art though- don't know why. I loved the smell and feel of painting with oil as well as that wild free feeling of using colour and bold strokes to express myself. I actually always di
